I know...what your thinking...
It has been over 3 months since my last blog post. Your probably saying to yourself "this girl is just super busy and popular and doesn't have time for a blog" or "She is probably off saving lives" or "She just can't get a grip on the reality that her life just isn't that interesting"
Here are some glorious updates on my life:
Last night's dinner

Last night's date
(She finally got a haircutt)
This weekend...We are going camping!
My mom invited Josh and I to go camping this weekend for two nights. I love a good camping trip...
However, I am a firm believer in actually camping. Roughing it if you will.
My mom and dad are bringing a pop-up camper and I just don't consider that real camping...I drew the line when she asked me what I wanted to eat for dinner and she suggested using the stove IN the pop-up camper. NO!
With this being said, I requested a tent and that all food be made over the fire... REAL CAMPING.
I told Josh that we were not allowed to watch anymore episodes of Walking Dead until after we went camping...that stuff will mess with your head!
Halloween is coming up and I have decided to be "Red Riding Hood" and Mia will be assisting me as my Wolf. The costume is in the making. I actually managed to find a long red-hooded cape at a part store of $9.99. SCORE. Now I just have to decide to me a cartoon version of red riding hood or a Amanda Seyfried version
More pictures to come once the costume is complete!

Get my eyebrows waxed...for everyones sake.

Do the duck/constipation face for Erin's sake...

Kiss my little pooper-stinker face...

Just my favorite stinker in the world...

Its been a while blog...but here is what I have been up to.

New Family Member: Mia

Photo: Worn out from seeing the CASAS family today at work :)

My little Yorkie-Chon pooper. I say this because I feel like all she does right now is 'poop'.
Born March 31st, 2012, Mia weighs a whopping 1.6 lbs. She is a tiny little booger but I love her so much.

The day I brought her home...

Photo: Mia helping Joshua with his homework :)

Photo: Hi friends! come give me hugs and kisses! I like to snuggle and chew on toes.

Photo: Car ride/ purse attack!

*Compliments of my roommate Erin's blog. I just love this picture :)

Till next time blogger world :) hopefully it won't be so long!

Friday Fever

We have all experienced the Friday "mood swing". You know when you are "So excited it's Friday!!!...PARTAY!" and when you get to work and your slouched in your office chair and your like "oh my's freaking Friday...why am I still here..." Every thing you could be doing with your life, flashes across your head: like one of those airplanes that fly discount, seafood announcements across your little stretch of beach, while sipping on a pina colada and working on your summer glow
 (point proven)

I'm going to give everyone a little sneak peak into my head, while I am currently sitting at work, slouched in my office chair:
First, I want this bike:

There is one very similar about 5 minutes from work...and I can hear it calling my name saying "Shalie, buy me please!"

Second, I wish I had her body and her canoe:

I do not know why canoeing just popped into my head, I think its because I just ate my left-over Thai food and feel like a meatball (snookie me)

Third, Ice Cream Sundae's:

My office is creating these devilish creations in another room as I type AND I feel like a "meatball" so here I am...thinking not eating about ice cream sundae's.

Fourth, Heather's 25th Birthday:

 (March 15th, 2011)

One of my dearest friends birthday is today and I can't wait to celebrate with her and friends tonight... come on work day! hurry up! :)

It's What's For Dinner...

Can I get an Amen! for the picture below?!

This was on the table last night...and it was amazing. One of the BEST blogs for Weight Watcher recipes, check out Skinny Taste for the full recipe and directions!

This meal was so affordable and easy to make. The items I had on hand were the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and eggs, which probably averaged around $4 together. The items I purchased were the lasagna noodles ($1.00), Frozen spinach ($1.64), Tomato Sauce ($1.98), Ricotta Cheese ($1.98)...around $10.00 friends...

The recipe also yields so much! I could only handle one roll and my boyfriend could only eat two (that's shocking), I shared the love with Erin (my roommate) and brought one for lunch today. That leaves 4 lonely rolls in the refrigerator at home :( those poor rolls.

Bridesmaids starring Kristen Wiig: DVD Cover

Watched this movie with Erin last night. HILARIOUS! I loved it. The humor was the belly aching, tear jerking type. I personally do not think Josh would have appreciated the humor (thats why he was not invited) and there were quite a few "F" words in the movie (not a fan of profanity) but I would totally recommend this movie (just not to my mom :).

Have a great Thursday everyone! It's almost the weekend!!!
